As the section title suggest, this is the place to find actual pumpkin carving photos. As we develop our website, we will also add pumpkin carving videos specifically for the more extreme pumpkins. We’ve seen pumpkins that shoot fire out of their heads. It is pretty impressive when it lasts for 5-10 minutes! We love to see pumpkin carving photos from our readers and we wanted to give some tips for taking pictures of your pumpkins. - Use a night setting or make sure that the flash is turned off.
- Use a tripod. When using a night setting in a dark environment, the camera shutter will stay open for a few seconds. Even the steadiest hand will never be as still as a tripod!
- Try different camera angles. When it comes to photographs, the angle of the camera lens can make all of the difference in the world.
- Move the candle inside the pumpkin. Try to find a place where the candle distributes light as evenly as possible for your pumpkin cutout. If there are bright spots, it will distort the picture.
- Take several pictures. Hey, it is the digital world! Film is pretty inexpensive so click away until you are happy!
